Notes:
When asked why Oma and John Hendricks are buried at Davis, OK, when most of the Hendricks family are buried in the Hendricks plot at Sulphur, OK, Becky said she didn't know why, but that Oma (her mother)had told them "Please don't bury me in the Hendricks plot at Sulphur." Beck said her mother didn't like her father-in-law, S.P. Hendricks, for some reason.

Oma said that, as a child, she and her sister Edna slept on the floor, on pallets made of corn shucks. They had to get up at 5:00 A.M., straighten the bed, eat their breakfast, do the dishes and then go to the fields at daylight. Oma swore that her children would never have to get up that early, nor do the dishes.
