************************************************

Birth date from Ottilia (Bitterman) Moser, Alfred's wife, and from an application for a certified copy of a birth certificate from North Dakota Division of Vital Statistics dated June 18th, 1976.

Alfred lists his parents as John Moser, Sr., and Anna Lowenberger. He was applying for social security as he was retiring and needed a birth certificate. There was no birth certificate so he was sent a form for a delayed registration of birth, but never followed through on it.

At the bottom of the application there is a line that looks like the vital statistics bureau filled in that says: "M-Kidder-2-3-23-351-5860- Lebenberger" this corresponds with the "Male Moser, 2-3-23, Kidder, 351-5860 on Emma Moser's application. This is thought to be Oscar Moser. Lebenberger is the mother's maiden name (Anna Marie's), as recorded on Philip's application for delayed registration. Bertha Moser spells it Loewenberger on hers.

As told to me by Ottilia, Feb. 2000:

The family moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota where they worked in a restaurant. After that they moved to North Dakota, then Bellfourche South Dakota. They lived in Eastern and Western South Dakota.

In 1937 the family moved to Idaho, a trip that took a week as they were unable to drive in the dark for fear of losing each other. At the pass (believed to be 4th of July pass) they lost their drive line and had to wait for one to come from Spokane before they could proceed. Ottilia had her then 2 year old daughter, Shirley, with her on the trip. The family settled in the Coeur D' Alene area and lived on 9th Street many years before moving to Post Falls, Idaho.

***************************************************************************************

Name spelled Atilia or something similar on birth certificate as told to me by Ottilia on 2-25-2000, she couldn't find the copy at that particular time, but said she had one.

Tillie died in her sleep the evening of the 13th or the day of the 14th of December, 2001. Services were Wednesday, 19th of December, 2001. Services were at English Funeral Chapel, Post Falls, Idaho. Burial is Evergreen Cemetery, Post Falls, Idaho, next to husband Alfred.
