"The Milton and Milton Junction Courier", Milton Junction, Wisconsin, Thursday, Sep. 13, 1956, p 4.
Funeral Services for Dayton Ogden, 79, who died in his home at Edgerton last week on Wednesday, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Ruben Tellefson funeral home, Edgerton, the Rev. Paul Smith of the Methodist Church officiating. Burial was in Milton Junction Cemetery. Pallbearers were August Maves, V. O. Ellingson, Brink Ogden, Chester Peters, Richard Stricker and Nordahl Gunness.

Henry Dayton Ogden, son of Charles and Julia Crandall Ogden, was born Oct. 20, 1876, on the Ogden homestead in the Rock River district. He was united in marriage with May Rabyor on Nov. 19, 1896. They would have observed their 60th wedding anniversary this year.
Mr. Ogden, a retired employee of the Highway Trailer Company, Edgerton, had been ill a long time.

Surviving are his wife; a son, Gerald, Elgin, Ill.; four grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and three sisters, Miss Florence Ogden and Mrs. Paul F. Meyer, both of Milton Junction and Mrs. Elmer Gabel of West Allis.

EDGERTON - Mrs. May Ogden, 81, widow of Dayton Ogden, died at 3:35 a.m. today in Edgerton Hospital after a long illness.
The former May Rabyor was born May 3, 1876, in Rock County. She was married to Henry Dayton, Nov. 19, 1896. He died 10 months ago. She was a life resident of Rock County.
Surviving are a son, G. W. Ogden, Elgin, Ill.; four grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Alice Hinckley and Mrs. Kate Mulligan, Edgerton, and Mrs. Lola Worley, Janesville; two brothers, William and Paul Rabyor, Janesville.
Services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Ruben Tollefson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Milton Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 this afternoon.
